England senior squad were back at Browns for another pre-Six Nations training camp

After the world cup, the squad are focused on the next challenge ahead, their game against France this Sunday 2nst February.

The atmosphere among the players was reported to be very positive by both coaches and players.

“We came here (pre-six nations) in ´17, ´18, ´19.  I think that the energy, enthusiasm and determination of the players is one of the best that I've seen at this point.”
— Steve Borthwick

With only a short time with the squad together, there is no time to waste during their time at Browns.

“We can’t waste days at the start of these camps. We need to hit the ground running and it’s up to the new players get up to speed with the help of the guys that have been in and around ….  it’s not about re-inventing the wheel or anything like that, it’s about building on what we’ve got and making it better and better all the time.”
—  Willi Heinz

Most the players were not new to Browns, having been here before with their club or national shirt on.

“I’m excited to get going again. It’s good to be back in camp with the boys.“
— Manu Tuilagi

“It’s been good to see the boys from the world cup that are still left and refreshing to see some of the faces that I didn’t recognize and getting to know them.”
— Joe Marler

The English national senior squad alone has been to Browns 11 times since 2007, this being the 7th training camp with Eddie Jones as coach. Going into its 20th Year as a sports training resort, Browns is pleased to have been, and continue to be, a part of rugby clubs’ pre-season and tournament preparations.
